Jen Lepkowski is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with nearly a decade of experience delivering care across diverse populations, and she is thrilled to join the team at the Fosnight Center. Though not a Western North Carolina native, she has called Asheville home for two decades. She earned her Master of Science from Western Carolina University in 2017, where she was honored with the Outstanding Family Nurse Practitioner Student Award and received the prestigious Mary Lewis Wyche Fellowship. She is currently pursuing her doctorate (DNP) at WCU, where she also serves as an adjunct professor.
Over the course of her career, Jen has practiced in urgent care, occupational medicine, primary care, and corporate wellness, building a particular strength in trauma-informed, whole-person care. Her clinical background includes women’s health, HIV PrEP/PEP and gender-affirming care, management of acute illness and injury, as well as complex chronic conditions. She brings a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to every patient she serves.
In 2021, she was recognized with the Mercy Award for outstanding performance and community impact, and in 2026 she was honored with an Excellence Award from CVS.
Outside of work, Jen shares her life with her husband, their adult children and their rescue animals. She is a certified yoga instructor, she can be found hiking, biking, paddling, reading, or working on her metal art in her free time.
